The Role

Reporting to the Regional Manager, this position is responsible for delivering the stores financial targets and company key performance indicators focusing heavily on creating a warm and genuine customer service experience. This role will also build a team that is empowered to exceed within the retail store and overseeing the David Jones Concession Indooroopilly store.

Key Responsibilities

  • To drive sales, profit and ensure the achievement of all KPI's as set by the company
  • Provide inspirational leadership, training and developing team capability
  • Lead with a focus on strong people management
  • Maintain a focus on commercial acumen ensuring the team have an understanding of the performance of the store
  • Manage effective control of costs
  • Drive a customer centric culture creating a warm and genuine customer service experience
  • Adhere to all company behaviours, policies and procedures

Profile

The Ideal Candidate will have
  • Proven experience in managing high sales turnover, multi-site retail fashion stores

  • A passion for the retail industry, exceptional service and a strong sense of personal style and presentation

  • Ability to manage budgets, interpreting financial reports and generating efficient rosters

  • Demonstrated experience in managing for profit, with a commercial approach

  • Experience managing the performance, training and development of a large team

  • Skills associated with driving productivity with team members

  • Demonstrated experience in managing for profit, with a commercial approach

  • Ability to build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders, including senior leadership
