Job description
We have a great opportunity for a Retail Finance Manager to join the team, covering a period of maternity leave. The focus of the role is to manage SAP GL retail related interfaces, ensure accurate and reliable accounting records, and support external and internal reporting relating to the Australian and New Zealand PUMA businesses.
Management and hands-on responsibility for the following areas:

- Processing tender settlements in SAP
- Bank reconciliations & tender clearing reconciliations for all stores & Ecommerce
- PRISM/OMS reconciliations to SAP and batch error checking
- Variable rent calculations and accruals
- Processing promo recharges from stores/Ecommerce
- Setting up new stores (EFTPOS machines, Bank Guarantees, Insurance, Merchant Services, Bank accounts etc.)
- Preparation of annual audited sales certificates for stores
- Cash audits
- Administration of retail store leases and documentation
- Processing retail store stock takes (SAP and PRISM)
- Ensuring daily retail finance procedures are being correctly followed with adherence to global retail policies and procedures.
- Ensure the original End of Day documentation is physically reviewed each month and filed.
- Assisting Senior Finance Manager with financial accounting tasks as required.
- Other tasks include support on external and internal audits, assisting in process improvements and documentation of processes, assisting with system implementation, and any other tasks or ad hoc requests as assigned by supervisors.
Profile
- CPA/CA qualified
- Retail Accounting experience is essential
- SAP
- Advanced Excel
- Taxation and reconciliation experience
- IAS knowledge
- Retail industry is preferable
