Job description

Exciting opportunity to join Mimco as the Junior Art Director.
Please note that this is a 12 month fixed term contract position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver creative assets for brand and marketing campaigns with a focus on art directing and capturing photographic and film content for Mimco's digital channels
- Working with the creative campaign direction this role is responsible for concepting and art directing secondary shoots, art directing creative assets and building content with a focus on social and digital channels
- Understand and interpret key seasonal themes and commercial needs to develop content for campaigns with a focus on digital channels that deliver fashion, brand & commercial goals
- Present concepts and ideas in response to the creative brief and communication channel plans
- Work closely with the Creative Manager and Creative team throughout the concept and creative development process to ensure campaign and brand alignment
- From approved concepts, develop shot lists and briefs for shoots such as briefs for photographers, stylists, influencers, videographers, external partners and suppliers
- Understand campaign and channel requirements and art direct secondary shoots to ensure content will be delivered to meet channel needs
- Contribute to and participate in creative brand workshops, concepting and campaign reviews


- Experience in graphic design/art direction, preferably within the fashion industry with a real talent in working across digital design
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in graphic design, or equivalent
- High level understanding for responsive design across multiple devices
- Knowledge and experience in using design applications such as; InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch or Primiere
- Passionate about creative and design
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships
- Organised and great at time management
