This is an exciting opportunity to manage a portfolio of Sydney-based independent optometry accounts and play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our customers and our brand. As the face of EssilorLuxottica in the field, you will build strong partnerships with independent optometrists, helping them grow their practices through tailored solutions, product expertise, and exceptional service. Your focus will be on: Protecting and nurturing existing business Driving market share growth Identifying and converting new business opportunities You'll collaborate closely with Customer Service teams, deliver product training to practice staff, and use data-driven insights to improve customer outcomes. What You'll Do Manage and grow a portfolio of Sydney-based accounts Build long-term relationships with independent optometry partners Analyse sales data to uncover trends and opportunities Deliver in-practice product training and coaching Develop strategic business plans to support customer growth Resolve customer issues and ensure an exceptional service experience What You'll Bring A vehicle and current open driver's licence Experience working with practice staff (in B2B sales or in an optical practice) Ability to interpret sales data and provide actionable insights 3+ years' experience in optical sales (lenses, customer service, lab, or retail) Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft suite Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Excellent commercial acumen, including pricing and margin understanding Confidence in delivering group and individual product training Highly Desirable - however we will provide training on the below to the right candidate! Optical Dispensing qualifications or experience Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting platforms Proven ability to prospect and close new business Previous Account Manager experience Why Join EssilorLuxottica? EssilorLuxottica is seeking a passionate and commercially driven Account Manager to join our market-leading sales team within the optical industry. This role will be responsible for managing our Sydney-based accounts. As the front face of our business, our Account Managers play a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with our independent optometry customers. The position focuses on three core objectives: protecting our existing business, driving market share growth, and identifying new business opportunities. In this role, you'll partner directly with customers to help grow their practices and our business. You'll develop tailored growth strategies, provide training and support to practice staff on the benefits of our products, and collaborate closely with our Customer Service teams to deliver exceptional service and resolve any customer issues. Please note: this is a 12-month fixed-term contract. To be considered for this role you will require the following A vehicle and current open driver's license Experience working with practice staff, either in a B2B sales role or working in a practice Ability to analyse sales data and convert to actionable insights 3+ years in optical sales (lens, customer service, lab or retail) Above average Excel and Microsoft suite skills Strong communication and relationship management skills Excellent business acumen, understanding of pricing strategy and margins Ability to train and upskill product knowledge to groups and individuals While the following criteria is desirable, training will be provided for the right candidate: Qualifications and/or experience in Optical Dispensing will be highly regarded Prior experience in using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, and sales reporting software Demonstrated ability to prospect and convert new business opportunities Experience as an Account Manager Working at EssilorLuxottica A career with EssilorLuxottica will offer you rewarding experiences and the opportunity to develop your skills every day.     In short Based out of our Melbourne Office, this Key Account Manager (KAM) role will manage the commercial interest of some larger growth partners for On Oceania. The role is strategic, entrepreneurial, omni-channel focused, and will form a major part of the growing Oceania Key Account and broader Sales teams. The KAM will define and deliver appropriate strategies to grow On with key partners in a profitable and sustainable way. The KAM will also ensure we deliver a unique consumer experience that maximises sell-through, category leadership and account share growth. The KAM will work closely with a cross functional team including Tech, Marketing and Operations to develop and define the appropriate strategies for successful partnerships. Most importantly the KAM must work for the best interest of our consumers, customers, team mates and the On brand. This role is to be based in Melbourne. Your story Demonstrated successful track record and progression in a commercial or business environment. Ability in building holistic strategic plans. Ability to influence both cross functionally and vertically internal and external stakeholders.
